Deaf students and hearing students who want to work with the Deaf and who come to Lubbock to study at SIBI are required to take 40+ courses and eight preaching/teaching labs in order to receive their Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree.

Deaf students who are unable to come to Lubbock have the option to take the courses through Zoom. Typically a student studies for three years in the Deaf Ministry Program. All courses are taught in ASL; however, occasionally courses are interpreted and taken with the hearing instructors as needed. The following is a list of the courses that are taken by students in the Deaf Ministry Program. Courses are all tuition-free, but there is a $20 technology fee per course.
